On January 9th, a team led by Wang Lin who is director of student employment guidance center of China University of Petroleum ( East China) came to Shenghong Petrochemical Group to carry out exchange activities, accompanied by Qi Qinglei, section chief of Talent Work Office of Organizational Department of CPC Lianyungang Municipal Committee and Li Haidong, director of municipal Talent Service Center. Luo Yunping, deputy director of human resources of Shenghong Group, received the team led by Wanglin.
The team led by Wanglin firstly made an on-the-spot visit to the project production site of Shenghong Petrochemical company, personally feeling the scale of the project and the working environment of the staffs. In the subsequent forum, Luo Yunping and Wang Lin respectively introduced the development situation of the enterprise and the school. Both sides together conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on school-enterprise cooperation, talent training and etc..
Wang lin said that advantages of China University of Petroleum in talent training and discipline construction were in conjunction with the development demand of Shenghong Petrochemical Company, and that this created an opportunity for both sides to seek cooperations of a higher level and in a wider range. He also said that China University of Petroleum would give full play to its advantages in "Industry-University-Research" and transformation of science and technology, train suitable high-end talents for enterprises with taking enterprise demands as the orientation, and strive to bring a win-win result and joint development for the school and enterprises.
Luo Yunping appreciated the coming of the team led by Wang Lin. He said “For a long time Shenghong Petrochemical Company has been carrying out pragmatic cooperations with China University of Petroleum in many fields, good results having been achieved and both sides having established a profound cooperation relationship with each other”. He also said “It is hoped that both sides, on the basis of current cooperations, will give full play to their respective advantages, together actively explore a new mode of school-enterprise cooperation which is of high efficiency and which can bring a win-win result and strive to build a new model of school-enterprise cooperation.”
Through agreement, Shenghogn Petrochemical Group officially became an employment practice base for China University of Petroleum and Luo Yunping was employed as the "specially appointed employment guidance teacher" for the university.
